Le Petit Masquerade @ Rumhouse (Caribbean Fine Dining)
Le Petit Masquerade • Saturday, October 31 • 6-10 PM An elegant Halloween masquerade at Rumhouse, Eastport's tip-free Caribbean restaurant and rum bar, recently named one of Food & Wine's standout new Caribbean restaurants in the U.S. On the last night of October, Rumhouse keeps a different sort of hours. The lamps go low, the masks come on, and a DJ sets the tempo for the night. From the kitchen: Executive Chef Natasha de Bourg has composed a Caribbean spread for the occasion. Passed hors d'oeuvres of Jerk Chicken Croquettes, Plantain Croquettes (vegan), and Trini Pastel Balls circulate through the room, while serving stations offer Chicken Lo Mein, Vegetable Lo Mein (vegan), and Doubles (vegan), Trinidad's beloved street food. A trio of mini desserts closes the evening. From the bar: Bar Manager Alan Denniberg, aka the Doctor of Rum, has curated an open bar with Halloween cocktails and zero-proof creations poured alongside wine and beer. During the evening, he takes the bar for a smoked Old-Fashioned demonstration, a little theatre in glass and smoke. This is a masquerade, not a costume party or haunted house. Dress for the evening and arrive masked. Who you are behind it is entirely your own affair. $140 per guest • All food and a curated open bar included • Tip-free • 21+ • Masks encouraged • Rumhouse • 422 Sixth Street, Annapolis, MD 21403 Reserve: https://protect.checkpoint.com/v2/r01/___https://www.exploretock.com/rumhouse-annapolis/event/625326/le-petit-masquerade___.…
