Cider Making (Class)
Cider Making Classes at Colvin Run Mill invites groups of up to eight people to learn how to use an old-fashioned cider press by making their own cider at Colvin Run Mill in Fairfax County, Virginia. This hands-on experience engages all ages as participants carry and press their own apples, creating approximately 2 gallons of fresh cider to take home. Groups need to bring approximately 100 apples of their choosing and tightly sealable containers for transporting their cider. Participants are encouraged to dress accordingly for outdoor work with the historic press. Cider Pressing at the Mill offers a unique opportunity to connect with traditional food production methods while creating lasting memories with family and friends. Weekday time slots are available. All participants will be contacted prior to their program with full details. Discover More Attractions in #FXVA
