You just lie there and let the week drain out of your shoulders. / / This class has a different feel from our Thursday night one. / / Thursday is about switching off. / / Saturday is slower. People arrive less wound up, settle in faster, and tend to float out rather than rush out. / Several regulars come as their standing Saturday thing, the way other people have a standing brunch. / / It pairs well with brunch afterwards, for the record. / / If you've never been to a sound bath: you keep your clothes on, you lie on a mat under a blanket, you close your eyes, and I do the rest. / / The bowls are played around and near you, the sound is physical as much as it is musical, you feel it in your chest, and an hour passes faster than you expect. / / Everything is provided.
