Nema Katt is what happens when real life gets a microphone.Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and now based in Atlanta, Georgia, Nema brings an unapologetic combination of intelligence, authenticity, edge, and Texas attitude to every stage she touches. Her comedy dives fearlessly into the realities of marriage, modern dating, breastfeeding, motherhood, medical school, relationships, and everything people are usually thinking but may be too afraid to say out loud. Nema’s ability to turn her own life experiences into hilarious, relatable stories gives audiences the feeling that they aren’t just watching a comedian—they’re catching up with the funniest friend in the room. Nema has shared stages and toured with some of comedy’s most respected names, including Mike Epps, Mark Curry, Faizon Love, and Ali Siddiq, and has opened for legendary comedian Paul Mooney. Her comedy journey has also taken her to one of entertainment’s most iconic stages, the Apollo Theater in Harlem.
