Day at the J

Looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon that the kids will love and you’ll enjoy yourself? Day at the J gives the kids an afternoon of play and the adults a few hours to enjoy all the JCC has to offer before coming together for dinner and Havdalah to close out Shabbat. While the younger kids spend the afternoon playing and doing activities with our dedicated preschool staff, adults (and kids ages 8 and up!) are invited to Theater J’s production of Tropical Secrets . This play tells the story of Daniel, a young German Jewish refugee, and Paloma, a Cuban girl with secrets of her own, as they navigate a world of borders and family separation together. If you don’t want to see the play, help with gift wrapping for our annual toy drive or – as always – play games, enjoy drinks, work out at the gym, or just hang out with other adult friends. Please note that space is limited and advance registration is required. We are unable to accommodate walk-ins for this program.
