The Bob Polding Band w/ Mike Sharp

The Bob Polding Band The Bob Polding Band is an Americana and Country-Rock outfit, rooted heavily in the Jersey Shore music scene. Fronted by singer-songwriter Bob Polding, the band is known for it's soulful sound, energetic live performances, and meaningful, storytelling lyrics. Musical Style & Influences The band's music sits at the intersection where rock meets country. Their signature "Americana" style is heavily influenced by iconic acts such as Bruce Springsteen and John Mellencamp with the narrative grit of Warren Zevon. Their instrumentation blends a classic rock foundation with acoustic elements, incorporating banjos, mandolins, and fiddles. Critics describe Polding's vocal style as clear, bold, and carrying a raspy, "troubadour command". The band has several new releases that include, "Take Care of That Girl", "8x10", "Forever Free" featuring Tony Trischka, known as the "Godfather of Bluegrass" on banjo, and their latest single "Stain", which drops on 9/22. The band has shared the stage and opened for many notable artists that include Toby Keith, Peter Frampton, Southside Johnny, Huey Lewis, Old Dominion, Billy Currington, LANCO, Pat Green, and Jason Isbell.
