The Kennedys CD Release & Maura’s Birthday Party

The Kennedys, a duo strong for more than 30 years, have recorded two dozen collections of mostly original songs while establishing themselves as core artists on the AAA and Americana charts. Touring at 50,000 miles per year before the pandemic, they also hosted "The Dharma Café" on Sirius/XM radio for four years. When Covid struck, they pivoted seamlessly, performing over 150 livestreams and playing 1,000+ songs for a global audience. Now back on the road and active in the studio, Pete and Maura are preparing Smoketree, their 2026 release and follow-up to 2023's Headwinds, which spent a month at #1 on the national Folk DJ chart. Smoketree consists of newly written original songs reflecting their feelings on environmental concerns, social upheaval, and the search for peace—both global and personal. True to their trademark approach, they bring uplift and encouragement rather than simply cursing the darkness. Well-traveled and never tiring of the wandering troubadour life, The Kennedys continue their blend of energized folk-rock, passion, and genuine camaraderie with their audience. Jammin' Java welcomes this enduring force to Fairfax County, Virginia. Admission: $27.00+.
