Betrayal
1st Stage presents Betrayal, a Nobel Prize-winning drama by Harold Pinter directed by Alex Levy, from October 8th–25th, 2026 at 1524 Spring Hill Road in Tysons, Fairfax County, Virginia. Emma, Robert, and Jerry have history. As her marriage to Robert comes to an end, Emma reconnects with Jerry, her former lover—and her husband's best friend—as the action unspools backward in time in an inventive retelling by the Nobel Prize-winning playwright. At once utterly domestic and dangerous, the play uncovers hidden truths and reveals how little we know about those we think we know so much about. The New York Times describes it as an "elegy about time and memory (where) the greatest dramatic weight lies in what's unspoken." Open Captioned Performances run October 15th–18th at various times (October 15–16 at 7:30 p.m., October 17 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., October 18 at 2:00 p.m.). Audio-Described Performance: October 18th at 2:00 p.m. Mask-Required Performance: October 17th at 7:30 p.m. Community Conversations follow select performances: Meet the Design Team (October 10th after 2 p.m. show), Meet the Director Alex Levy (October 11th), Meet the Cast (October 17th after performance and October 19th at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom). The production is presented with generous support from Sandy Laeser in honor of Dick Laeser. Betrayal explores memory, time, betrayal, and the hidden complexities of relationships in Fairfax County, Virginia. Tickets and information: / . Discover More Attractions in #…
