Presented by Councilmember Gopi Dhokai and Councilmember Kareem Redmond with the City of Hyattsville. Celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights, with a morning of culture and creativity! Community members are invited to learn about the traditions and meaning behind Diwali through reading a children's book together, create a colorful rangoli design to take home, and enjoy chai and Indian snacks. All ages are welcome!
