The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra explores the hidden emotional worlds of Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich, with Jonathon Heyward conducting and Vadim Gluzman featured on violin. The program opens with Vítězslava Kaprálová’s brisk Military Sinfonietta, then turns to Shostakovich’s deeply personal Violin Concerto
