Where: Owen's Creek Picnic Area is off of Foxville-Deerfield Road Directions and information can be attained at the park visitor center 14707 Park Central Rd Thurmont, MD 21788. Join a ranger for a leisurely, early morning photo walk on Brown's Farm trail! The Brown's Farm trail is a short, relatively flat 0.4 mile trail that includes extant structures of an Appalachian farmstead. Its quiet solitude and mix of natural and manmade features means there's something for everyone to capture. Bring something that can take photos, good walking shoes, and an urge to photograph the natural and historical world. The program will meet at 8am on October 31 at the Owens Creek Picnic Area.
