Annapolis Witches & Legends Walking Tour

Take a walk through the history of Maryland's witch trials, superstition, and local legends with Annapolis Ghost Tours. Between the 1600s and 1700s, Maryland saw at least twelve witch trials. The last one was a capital case held right here in Annapolis. Several women in the colony were killed under suspicion of witchcraft, one was legally executed, and the stories of others have become legends that persist to this day. On this 90-minute walking tour, we will talk about the superstitions and accusations through the lens of local history. Hours: 7:00 PM-8:30 PM.
